  4. What this software does
  5. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  7. This application is a front end for the authors !MultiPlot
  8. application. It allows you to enter up to four functions,
  9. y=f(x), in BASIC format, and will then produce a file in the
  10. correct format for loading into !MultiPlot. If !MultiPlot is
  11. active at the same time as FNPlotter, then the data file is
  12. transferred transparently, using the Desktop message
  13. transfer facilities. It is therefore possible to overlay
  14. graphs of known functions with other data produced by e.g.
  15. !GraphDraw.

  17. Running FNPlotter
  18. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  20. Double clicking on the !FNPlotter icon in a directory viewer
  21. will install its icon on the icon bar. Clicking on the
  22. iconbar icon will open a dialogue window to enter the
  23. functions.

  25. Full interactive help is available, via !Help or
  26. !BubbleHelp.

  30. The software referred to in these notes is NOT placed into
  31. the public domain, but remains the copyright of the author,
  32. Chris Johnson, and is released as Shareware only, and should
  33. not be posted on bulletin boards or circulated on any public
  34. domain software discs, except by prior and express agreement
  35. with the author.

  37. Anyone obtaining this software other than from the author,
  38. and making use of the software other than for trial
  39. purposes, is requested to register with the author by
  40. sending a minimum of £3. All registered users will be
  41. informed from time to time of any significant improvements
  42. or 'bug' fixes and will be entitled to upgraded versions of
  43. the software free of charge at any time by sending a blank
  44. disc, an SAE and sufficient to cover return postage. A
  45. single registration will cover use of the complete suite of
  46. graphing software produced by the author.
